Graduation Requirements

Fall 2019 Graduation

All schools at Emory University participate in online graduation application submissions. Students may apply to graduate through their OPUS accounts online. The deadline for Fall 2019 Graduation is September 13, 2019

After September 13, 2019, late degree applications must be completed using the paper form available here. Students submitting a late degree application must submit ONLY the paper form to the Law Registrar in G144. Students will then have to take a $25 late fee, in the form of a check made payable to the university’s Registrar Office, directly to the office at 200 Dowman Drive, Boisfeuillet Jones, Center, Rm. 100. The Law Registrar cannot accept any payments.

Emory will host a reception for our Fall 2019 graduates on December 13, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Fall 2019  graduates are also invited to walk in the Emory University Commencement Ceremony on the Quadrangle as well as the School of Law Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony. Both of these formal Commencement ceremonies take place in May and celebrate all students who graduated during the previous year. You will receive more information about those events later in the semester.
