Biography

Since graduating from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, David Minkin has been successfully supporting clients to meet or exceed their objectives. Resisting the temptation to define the boundaries of what can and cannot be accomplished, Minkin quickly gets to the essence of a challenge, analyzes the business and legal contexts, and proposes reasonable, practical plans of action.

Minkin has started, operated and managed law firms for over twenty-five years. He ran his own firm beginning in 1978, then Minkin & Snyder from 1986 through 2000, and subsequently the Atlanta office of Greenberg Traurig. So, Minkin understands the issues and pressures that his clients face with their own businesses. He has applied that understanding in working with successful entrepreneurs, family businesses, start-up technology ventures, major oil companies, multinational banks and prominent real estate developers. Minkin is consistently ranked among Georgia’s “Super Lawyers.”

Minkin shares his insights and expertise by mentoring and educating young attorneys and law students. He currently is adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law and previously taught at the College of Law at Georgia State. In addition, Minkin has created business-development and worker-training programs for his clients.
