Biography

Robert Saudek practiced law on Wall Street before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where he became one of the founding partners of Morris, Manning & Martin. Saudek practiced as a partner with the firm for thirty-five years in the areas of commercial real estate, partnership, finance, and private placements. He was managing partner of Morris, Manning & Martin for sixteen years and led the firm through much of its expansion from the original eight young, struggling lawyers into one of the AmLaw 200 largest law firms in the country.

After retiring from Morris, Manning & Martin in 2011, Saudek spent a year as a fellow in residence at Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative. Since 2012 he has been co-founder, vice president, and director of the Liberian Energy Network, an international nonprofit organization that brings solar lights to Liberia. Saudek also teaches Contract Drafting and Deal Skills as adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law.
