Julia L. Crewson is a Visiting Instructor in the Legal Writing, Research, and Advocacy Program. Crewson graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with degrees in Classical Studies and Psychology. While at Duke, she was captain of the women's varsity swim team. She received her JD from Harvard Law School where she was the Solicitations Editor of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review. After law school, Crewson practiced at Ropes & Gray LLP in Washington, D.C. and McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Chicago, IL, where she focused on white collar criminal defense matters. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Roger W. Titus in the District of Maryland.
