Georgia Court of Appeals holds session at Emory Law Nov. 14

Emory University School of Law |

The Georgia Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments at Emory University School of Law at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. The court will hear three oral arguments in a public session held in Tull Auditorium, with current Emory Law students in attendance to observe the appellate court process in action as an illustration of both the theory and practice of law.

Two of the judges on the three-judge Court of Appeals panel are Emory Law alumnae, Presiding Judge Yvette Miller 88L and Judge Elizabeth Branch 94L. They will be joined by Judge William Ray, who along with Branch, was sworn into the court by Governor Nathan Deal earlier this year.

More information on the cases to be heard can be found on the Georgia Court of Appeals’ website.
