Emory Law students comment successfully for client on FDA draft produce rule

FDA Produce Rule
The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) asked the Turner Environmental Law Clinic to help prepare responsive comments to the Produce Rule on its behalf.

Mindy Goldstein, director of the Turner Environmental Law Clinic at Emory University School of Law, engaged students in preparing comments on the January 2013 draft Produce Rule, a proposal by the FDA that would "purportedly establish science-based minimum standards for safely growing and harvesting produce." Her goal was to provide students with hands-on experience in developing better regulation and understand the role of administrative law.
