The Center for Professional Development & Career Strategy at Emory Law plays a crucial role in linking employers and students. We foster meaningful connections through a range of initiatives, including interview programs, online job postings, career-focused panels, engaging presentations, and networking events. Our commitment to connecting employers with our talented and diverse student body ensures valuable opportunities for both sides, enhancing career prospects and enriching the professional landscape.

Emory Exclusive Recruitment Programs

Our exclusive recruitment programs in the summer and fall provide employers with unique opportunities to conduct virtual or on-campus interviews with rising second and third-year law students. Additionally, during the spring, employers can request interview schedules for students from any class year. This means you can choose to interview students from different years in one session, all of which require no registration fees.

For employers unable to conduct in-person or virtual interviews, we offer a Resume Collection Program. This initiative allows you to submit job openings to the Career Center, which we will then share with our student body. We will also collect application materials on your behalf and forward them for your review, saving you time and effort. Alternatively, we can direct applicants to your online career portal for submission. Registration for this program is ongoing, and there are no associated fees or deadlines to participate. The Spring Interview Program usually occurs in February, March, and April. This program enables employers to seek applications for both summer positions and post-bar positions.

Summer Recruitment Programs (2025)

The highly anticipated Summer Interview Programs will start in June and provide a valuable opportunity for legal employersto review and consider applications from rising 2Ls (Class of 2027) seeking summer associate positions that may lead to post-graduate roles. Additionally, rising 3Ls (Class of 2026) can also apply for post-graduate positions through this program.

During the Fall Legal Interview Program, which spans September, October, and November, participating employers have the opportunity to seek applications from second-year law students (Class of 2027) for summer positions the following year. Additionally, they can also consider applications from third-year and LLM students (Class of 2026) for post-bar positions for the following year or even for part-time positions during the school year.
