Emily Niklaus Davis joined the adjunct faculty of Emory Law School in 2021. She teaches Crimmigration Law, which explores the intersection between the criminal and immigration legal systems.

Davis is a partner at Ross & Pines, LLC, a boutique law firm in Atlanta. Her practice focuses on deportation defense and family-based immigration. Specifically, Davis specializes in bond proceedings for noncitizens in ICE custody, waivers in immigration court, marriage-based green cards, naturalization applications, and special immigrant juvenile cases. She has represented noncitizens in ICE detention facilities in many jurisdictions, including Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Ohio, California, and New Mexico. Davis has presented trainings on various aspects of immigration law and has served as a crimmigration expert on discussion panels.

Davis earned her law degree from Emory Law School, where she was Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
