GILLIAN HARRIS
Associate Director of Academic Programs

Gillian Harris is Associate Director of Academic Programs at Emory University School of Law. Prior to joining Graduate Programs in February 2020, she worked as an Admission Advisor and Assistant Director of Admission. She is a native New Yorker, who holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Cornell University. Ms. Harris earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. After law school, she clerked in the Florida State Appellate Court, before transitioning into private practice. Ms. Harris practiced in the areas of personal injury and foreclosure defense, until she joined Emory Law in 2018.

Kirsten Schaetzel, English Language Specialist

Dr. Kirsten Schaetzel, our English Language Specialist, is available to assist all law school students. She does workshops and has individual student appointments on aspects of English language and American culture. After receiving her doctorate from Boston University, she worked for ten years in Asia. After returning to the US, she began working with international law students at Georgetown Law and has continued to enjoy working with law students after moving to Atlanta. She works through the Office of Graduate Programs.
