Our acclaimed faculty—scholars, practitioners, and experts in their fields—teach a wide variety of classes. The on–campus format offers many courses and the ability to customize the program to your specific interests. The online format offers two courses of study in Business Law and Regulation, and Health Care Law, Policy, and Regulation.

To complete your JM degree, you will take three required courses:

  • Introduction to the American Legal System
  • Analysis, Research, and Communication for Non-Lawyers
  • One Foundation Class (sometimes known as a "1L" class). These include: Contracts, Torts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Legislation and Regulation, Civil Procedure, and Property.
