Juris Master: Health Care Law

Put the Law to Work for Your Career

Legal Training for Health Care Professionals

Legislation and regulation profoundly shape the entire health care sector – from hospitals and health insurance to biotechnology and medical devices. Executives, and compliance and health care professionals are being called upon to adapt to new realities, including awareness of how legislation and regulation works. In addition, knowledge of the law as it applies to regulation of health care, patient care, privacy laws and data protection, and laws and economic issues in health policy are just some of the ways in which Emory Law’s Juris Master program can help students better assess organizational risk, make informed decisions, and more effectively navigate and manage this increasingly complex environment.

At Emory Law, JM students can take advantage of online or on-campus formats, completing the 30-credit hour program full-time in as few as two semesters on campus, or in 18 months online. Students can also combine online and on-campus courses to suit their needs and professional goals.

Current students and recent graduates have shared some of their experiences with us and how the JM degree has been helpful in their careers.
