Biography
Amanda Galifianakis focuses her practice on consumer financial services representing technology companies as in house counsel. Her practice focuses on advises her clients in development, launch, and operation of consumer lending products utilizing emerging technology.
Prior to working in house, Amanda was an associate with Troutman Sanders (now Troutman Pepper) representing Consumer Financial Services clients on a variety of state and federal regulatory matters in the firm’s Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C. offices. Amanda is a member of the Virginia and Washington D.C. Bars and graduated from William and Mary Law School.
During law school, Amanda participated in the externship program as an extern with the Honorable John A. Gibney Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Fourth Circuit, and the Newport News Virginia Public Defender’s office. She also participated in the school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution team and worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Skills and Professional Responsibility courses.
