Biography

Professor Galifianakis practices law as in house counsel for Apple Inc. In this role, she advises the company on financial services matters. Prior to working at Apple, she spent more than seven years developing and supporting a compliance and legal program for GreenSky Inc., an Atlanta-based fintech company that conducted an IPO in 2018 and then a sale to Goldman Sachs in 2022.

Professor Galifianakis has a law degree from William and Mary where she assisted the Legal Skills program as a teaching assistant for two years and competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution team. She authored papers on topics related to juvenile rights and mandatory vaccinations for students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech.

In her time outside of work, she enjoys being outside and making art with her husband, Constantine, and two daughters.
