Biography

Jennifer Murphy Romig joined the faculty of Emory Law School in 2001. She teaches first-year legal research and writing; professional responsibility; and analysis, research, and communication for non-lawyers. She also serves as Faculty Advisor to the Moot Court Society. In 2013, Romig founded the blog Listen Like a Lawyer, www.listenlikealawyer.com, which focuses on listening skills for lawyers, law students, and all legal professionals. Romig received her JD in 1998 from the University of Virginia. She practiced law at Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP in Atlanta, where she litigated patent, trademark, and trade secret cases and other commercial matters.
