Biography

Linda Amidon is an adjunct instructor in the externship program, teaching both the Government Counsel and Advanced Externship courses. She recently retired from federal practice, serving as a senior attorney for the Federal Highway Administration in Atlanta. She has also served as a special assistant US attorney in Miami, Florida, counsel to the Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans, and trial counsel for Florida's Office of Attorney General. Prior to government service, Linda Amidon was a trial attorney with the law firm of Dube' and Wright, PA, in Miami Florida. Before law school, she was a United States park ranger serving in various parks throughout the United States.

In addition to the extern courses, she has taught classes in federal employee ethics, environmental law, and legal writing. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
