Biography

Jerry Mason recently retired from the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, where he served, in addition to the regular felony trial line, as a member of the Special Victims Team and the Crimes Against Children Unit. Mason spent his last four years in the office with the Appellate Unit, handling post-conviction litigation, including the researching and writing of briefs and oral arguments in the DeKalb County Superior Court as well as in the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Mason has been coaching mock trial teams at Emory Law since 2010.
