Biography
Mareasa advises law students and presents educational programming in the Emory Law Career Center. Prior to joining Emory Law in 2018, Mareasa was a senior associate in the Atlanta office of Jones Day where she was involved in a broad range of civil litigation matters and white collar criminal investigations. While at Jones Day, Mareasa served on the hiring committee and was a mentor to junior associates. Additionally, Mareasa served as the Atlanta office's team leader for Jones Day's firmwide pro bono efforts to assist in the unaccompanied minors immigration crisis. Mareasa currently serves on the boards of the Georgia Law Center for the Homeless and Georgia Italian American Bar Association. She is also a barrister in the Lamar Inn of Court. Mareasa earned her JD, cum laude, from The University of Georgia School of Law and her BA in Rhetoric & Law, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
