Information Technology

The Information Technology department at Emory Law oversees the technology infrastructure that allows faculty, students, and staff to be productive and creative partners in the field of legal education.

We also partner with the university at-large to offer numerous enterprise-level platforms and applications. Your main point of contact is through the Student Help Desk on the 2nd floor (entry level) of MacMillan Library. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday during the academic year. You can also reach us by sending an email to lawstudent-help@emory.edu. You can reach the main university Help Desk (in particular for password issues) by visiting http://help.emory.edu or calling 404-727-7777.

At the Student Help Desk, we can assist you with software, network and printing issues. We can also help with virus and malware problems.

We do not support pirated applications or operating systems.

Additionally, we do not perform hardware repairs (it's best if you maintain a warranty for your laptop). We recommen suing a local vendor, Onyx Consulting (Phone: 404.924.8630), for hardware repairs. They are an Apple certified repair shop and also repair PCs.

Emory Resource: Microsoft Office
