Biography

Kevin Crowley joined Emory’s Goizueta Business School in 2006 and has taught a variety of classes in the finance department. Prior to coming to Emory, Crowley worked in the investment banking industry for fourteen years at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. As a managing director in New York and Tokyo, he advised clients on a broad range of corporate events including capital raising, restructuring, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). He specialized in M&A and had a particular focus on cross-border transactions, where he advised numerous corporate and private equity firms based in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. During his banking career he completed over thirty transactions. After leaving the banking industry, Crowley started and managed two hedge funds, with a specialization in quantitative trading. The specific trading strategies applied a combination of fundamental analysis and behavioral finance.
