Emory Journal draws labor law experts for NLRB Symposium
Emory Law's student-centered course of study combines doctrinal courses with practical experiential opportunities, ensuring graduates are prepared to make an immediate and lasting impact in their chosen careers.
The Emory Law Journal presents a special one-day symposium at Emory Law School on Friday, April 10. This symposium will draw together many of the nation's most recognized academics in the traditional labor law field as well as all five National Labor Relations Board members and the general counsel. With the assistance of Professor Michael Z. Green of the Texas A&M University School of Law, the panel will address the future of the NLRB as an administrative agency at the dawn of its 80th anniversary.
The NLRB symposium will assess the role of the Board today, what actions Congress may take with respect to the Board, and what the future of the Board might be. Specifically, the symposium will feature three panels, highlighted below.

The symposium will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in in Tull Auditorium, Gambrell Hall, located at 1301 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA, 30322. Georgia Bar Members may obtain 5.5 hours of general CLE credits for registering with a $65 registration fee, which is waived for judges and clerks. The symposium is free and open to the public; however, all attendees must register online. The symposium includes a midday lunch and is followed by a reception.
