Bartlett 18L wins disability law writing competition

Victoria BarlettVictoria “Lavender” Veran Bartlett, a second-year Emory Law student, won first prize in the Adam A. Milani Disability Law Writing Competition. She entered the competition with an appellate brief that she wrote during her Introduction to Legal Advocacy course this past spring on a Title VII issue.

The Adam A. Milani Disability Law Writing Competition is a national writing competition sponsored by Mercer University School of Law and the ABA Commission on Mental and Physical Disability Law. The competition honors the work of the late Professor Adam Milani, a passionate advocate for disability rights and an accomplished legal scholar.
