Emory Law faculty are experts in their respective areas of law, dynamic teachers in the classroom, and scholars engaged in centers focusing on the front lines of legal policy and research.
Our professors have unique backgrounds and interests—from pioneering feminism and legal theory to exploring the intersection of law and religion to fighting for justice for military combatants and veterans. They come to the classroom with extensive practical experience, having clerked for federal judges and practice law for the public sector, businesses, and private firms. They are often called upon to provide testimony and expertise in courtrooms, legislatures, and Congress; before government, public, and nonprofit agencies and organizations; and to a wide range of journalists and media sources.
The scholarly work of our renowned centers and academic programs shapes the high caliber of Emory Law's curriculum and experiential learning programs. Our faculty produces scholarship that is interdisciplinary, integrative, and international in nature and that celebrates the profession of service.
