Biography

Lesley G. Carroll is an instructor in the legal writing, advocacy, and communications program. Carroll graduated magna cum laude in 1987 from Hamilton College with a degree in English literature and graduated in 1990 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. In her third-year at Penn, Carroll was a Clayton R. Louderbeck Memorial Legal Writing Instructor, teaching legal research and writing to first-year students. After law school, Carroll practiced for more than eight years at Troutman Sanders LLP in Atlanta, where she litigated intellectual property and contract disputes. She is currently serving as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Students.
