Biography

Dr. Bambach’s scholarship focuses on the intersection of religious law and secular law, with a particular emphasis on Islamic law. Her research interests include faith-based dispute resolution and Islamic finance. She clerked for the late Honorable Sam J. Ervin III of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She also worked in the Washington DC office of Latham & Watkins and was an adjunct at the University of Georgia School of Law.

She holds a bachelor of arts from Brown University, a master of theological studies from Harvard Divinity School, a juris doctor from the University of Georgia, where she was editor-in-chief of the law review, and a doctorate from Emory University.
