Biography

Mike Ginsberg is a partner in the Pittsburgh Office of Jones Day. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in insurance coverage, environmental, and toxic tort litigation. Admitted since 1985 in Pennsylvania, he has litigated cases in many different jurisdictions, both state and federal, around the country. For more than two decades, he has served as the chair of Jones Day's Firm-wide Training Committee.  Ginsberg has taught trial skills programs throughout the United States and in Asia, Africa, and Europe. He is a past chair of the board of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) for whom he serves as the program director for the Pittsburgh Regional Building Trial Skills program, and has served as a team leader at the National Trial Program in Colorado, and as a team leader, assistant team leader, and faculty member at numerous other NITA programs over the past twenty-three years. 

Ginsberg serves Emory as the director of the Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques, where he had been a team leader multiple times. 

Ginsberg is a 1985 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School.
