Fall 2023: International Students Welcome Week

Welcome to Emory Law! These events are only for students on an F-1 visa. In-person attendees will check-in on the 2nd Floor Connector, and sessions will be held in Room G575. Please email jdadmission@emory.edu if you have any questions.

Students must review all the Welcome Week schedules that apply to their student status. For example, an international student (F-1 visa) who is also a JD student must attend the international student and JD Student Welcome Week activities.

Please note:

  • Attendance: All sessions are in-person and required.
  • SAP-G- Sexual Assault Prevention (SAP-G) is a mandatory virtual training that all students must complete. This training will not be available during orientation, but you will receive emails about it during the semester. Please complete this mandatory training once you receive it.
  • Attire:Emory Law is a comfortable and welcoming community. Our students typically dress casually for class, and comfortable attire and shoes are appropriate for in-person attendance. However, please bring or wear professional attire for your scheduled headshots.
  • Parking for In-Person Modules:Complimentary parking is available in the Lowergate South/Gambrell parking deck directly behind the law school. Please hang the parking pass provided to you by parking and hang it on your rearview mirror. This pass will let you into the Lowergate South/Gambrell parking deck only for the week of orientation.
