Welcome to Emory Law! There is an additional ISSS session for students on an F-1 visa. Please email llmadmission@emory.edu, sjdadmission@emory.edu, or jdadmission@emory.edu if you have any questions.
Students must review all the Orientation schedules that apply to their student status. For example, an international student (F-1 visa) who is also an LLM student must attend the international student session as well as the other LLM Student Orientation activities.
Please note:
- Attendance: All sessions are in-person and required.
- Attire: We recommend dressing in business casual attire for Orientation (i.e. no jeans, shorts, loungewear, or flip flops). However, please wear professional attire on Thursday for your scheduled headshots and the Professionalism program.
- Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the Lowergate South/Gambrell parking deck directly behind the law school. You will be emailed a QR code ahead of Orientation that will grant you access to the parking deck. This pass will let you into the Lowergate South/Gambrell parking deck only for the week of Orientation.
- International Students: If you have an F-1 visa, you are also required to attend the additional ISSS session.
- SAP-G- Sexual Assault Prevention (SAP-G) is a mandatory virtual training that all students must complete. This training will not be available during Orientation, but you will receive emails about it during the semester. Please complete this mandatory training once you receive it.
