Tuition reflects full-time enrollment in fall and spring semesters. Optional summer classes may be offered on an additional per credit tuition basis. Full cost of attendance information is available on the Office of Financial Aid website.

All enrolled students at Emory University, including those enrolled in the school of law’s online degree programs, are subject to the university’s tuition refund policy. That includes the policy’s schedule of reduced refund levels, with the passage of additional days following the start of the relevant semester (i.e., spring, summer, or fall). Any withdrawal must occur at the start of relevant term, if any refund is to be received.

* Emory bases financial aid loan eligibility on moderate (versus low) cost-of-living numbers from the Consumer Expenditure Survey (CES) and the Indexes of Comparative Costs, both produced by the US Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. Recipients don’t have to borrow the full amount of their approved loans, and many Emory Law students find it manageable to live on less than Emory’s official estimate.

** This estimate is based on the 2022-23 expense. Many students are exempt from this charge because they are covered under their parent’s or another policy that meets Emory’s required coverage minimums. For more information, go to the Student Health website.

*** This estimate is based on the 2022-23 expense. Many first-year students do not buy a parking pass because Emory’s extensive free shuttle system provides transportation from popular neighborhood apartment complexes. For more information about the free shuttle, go to the Transportation website. In addition, most parking decks on campus are free at 4 p.m.

**** This estimate is based on the 2021-22 expense.
