Emory Law students advance in national and international competitions

The Emory National Moot Court Competition team advanced to the semi-finals of the regional round of the 71st Annual National Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the New York City Bar. The team won third-best in the round. Natasha Spreadborough 21L, James Emmet Farnan 21L, and Kaela Palmiter 21L comprise the team. 

In March 2020, Spreadborough advanced to the international round of the International Criminal Court competition, while Palmiter advanced to the international round of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law competition.

The Emory ABA Arbitration team participated in the ABA Regional Arbitration Competition hosted this year by the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Emory Law competitors advanced to the semi-finals in this competition, as well. The team included Maddie Young 21L, Nancy Jin 22L, Hayley Luna 22L, and Rebecca Johnson 22L.
