Spring 2026 Graduation

The law school’s Spring 2025 Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony was held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Gas South Convention Center at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA.

The ceremony featured remarks by Emory Law Dean Rich Freer and winners of the Most Outstanding Graduating Student and Most Outstanding Professor awards. 

Graduation Checklist

FEBRUARY

• Apply to Graduate: The deadline to apply for graduation is Monday, February 16, 2025. If you miss the February deadline, complete the paper form and email it to  lawregistrar@emory.eduDual Degree students must submit a degree application to both schools. You will apply online, in OPUS, for the degree of the school at which you are currently enrolled. A paper degree application must be submitted to the other school. Online and/or paper degree applications are due to both schools by the application deadline.
• Check your name in OPUS: Is your name spelled correctly in OPUS? Have you noted your preferred name? How your preferred name appears in OPUS is how it will be listed on the Degree Candidate Recognition Ceremony booklet. The name change deadline is February 27, 2026.
