The William and Jane Carney Center for Business and Transactional Law (CCBTL) at Emory University School of Law was founded by and made possible by generous support from
William J. Carney, Charles Howard Candler Professor of Law Emeritus. Its mission is to equip students for business and transactional practice; to advance the study of business, transactions, and markets; and to facilitate exchange among scholars, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders.
The Carney Center is led by faculty director Andrew Jennings, Associate Professor of Law, and is closely affiliated with Emory Law's Center for Transactional Law and Practice.
