Mock trial teams rack up wins

Palmetto State Classic winner
Miriam Broussard 20L, Mehreen Hussain 20L, coach Justin Norman, Tony Rao 20L and Sam Holder 20L

Sam Holder 20L, Miriam Broussard 20L, Mehreen Hussain 20L, and Tony Rao 20L recently won the Palmetto State Classic mock trial tournament hosted by USC.  The is the second consecutive year Emory Law has won the tournament, this year besting UGA in the final round. Holder won best advocate in the final round. Hussain received best advocate in preliminary rounds. And Randy Tessier (competing on another team Emory Law sent) received an outstanding advocate in preliminary rounds award.

Christy Lambden 19L, Alex Van Den Eynde 19L, Eric Burnette 20L, and Imaya Adris 20L came in second  (of 20 teams) at the Lone Star Mock Trial Tournament in Austin in the same weekend.  The team narrowly lost to Harvard in the final round.
