During the event, you will have the opportunity to dine with the Emory Law Office of Admission and Financial Aid staff as well as students who graduated from Emory University and are now attending Emory Law.

Signature Programs

TI:GER aims to transform great ideas into reality. Emory Law students provide a crucial legal perspective and help their teams navigate IP and patent law to launch successful startups that can change the world and save lives.

Public Interest

Emory Law’s public interest opportunities range from studying international humanitarian law to defending the homeless. The Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC) allows students to explore public interest opportunities through summer job grants. It’s a great way for students to get hands-on experience while serving the community.

Experiential Learning

Emory Law’s range of experiential learning opportunities is broad and deep. From externships with alumni firms, to earning a transactional law certificate, to effectively launching a startup, there’s a way to explore your ideal practice area.

Emory’s clinics work for some of our most underserved citizens: children, veterans, the LGBTQ community, refugees, immigrants, and those affected by war. The Turner Environmental Law Clinic and the Barton Policy and Legislative Advocacy Clinics also serve as government watchdogs.

Center for The Study of Law and Religion

CSLR’s four major research programs study where law and religion intersect: human rights, religious freedom, immigration, and marriage and family. Its interdisciplinary projects involve theologians and jurists from around the globe.

Center for Transactional Law and Practice

The center’s nationally modeled certificate program uses building block courses that culminate in a capstone course or externship. Students take five foundational courses and at least three skills courses: Contract Drafting, Deal Skills, and either a capstone course or a transactional law externship.
